Mason County Press: Spend a summer's evening with the musical stylings of Bud Summers.

SCOTTVILLE - Continuing the Tuesday Night Concert Series, the Scottville Clown Band Shell will feature Bud Summers, a bluesy rock musician from St. Louis, Missouri.

Summers was born with music in his blood. Through his father, a jazz bassist and mother, a public school music teacher, he was exposed to music at an early age. Though he tinkered with the piano and violin, his love affair with musical instruments began when he picked up a second hand guitar. He studied classical guitar and played in a college jazz band at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, where he earned a B.A. in Music Performance.
